With maximum sustained winds nearing 125 MPH/205 KM/H, Hurricane Hilary is a category three hurricane currently storming westward. Ocean swells generated by Hilary are still affecting portions of the coast of southwestern Mexico and causing life-threatening surf and rip tide conditions.

The National Hurricane Center is predicting continued westward to northwestern motion for Hilary over the next 48 hours and their track models show Hilary turning sharply northward in the next couple of days.

Storms Ophelia and Philippe remain in tropical storm status.
