Do not go with Farmers Insurance if you ever need someone to help you in a claim. Yes the local agents are very nice and I have nothing but good things to say about them. However they do not handle your claim if you ever need to make one; that privledge goes to their HelpPoint Claim service in Oklahoma and they are a nightmare to deal with. Here is my experience. I was parked and stopped outside a store when another car pulled in next to me crossed over my parking space line and hit my passenger door which was partially opened when they pulled in. I didn’t stress about it as I figured I was covered no problem but just asked if everyone was ok, called my agent and took pictures.

American Family has been exceptional; service, expertise, claims! We have 2 cars, home, life, and several business policies with our American Family. Rates are competitive, they have of course fluctuated up and down over the 10 years we have been with them which is understandable with the competition/huge claim losses in our area, but the price is well worth it.
